The Veggie

Are you looking for a unique take on the veggie sandwich? Look no further. McNally’s serves a one-of-a-kind original veggie sandwich that truly stands out. Perfectly layered, every bite was just as incredible as the first. I honestly didn’t want it to end — I found myself savoring every single bite.

I’ve had my share of veggie sandwiches from places like Jersey Mike’s, Jimmy John’s, Subway, Capriotti’s, Bouna, and many others. While they tend to follow the traditional formula of lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, cheese, peppers, onions, and sometimes mushrooms or tofu, McNally’s takes a bold and delicious turn. Their sandwich, The Veggie, features flavorful grilled eggplant, zucchini, red onion, roasted red peppers, and perfectly melted Boursin cheese on a grilled ciabatta roll — creating something entirely different, and entirely better.

It was flawlessly layered and cooked to perfection. I’ve never experienced anything quite like it. The flavors blended seamlessly, like a harmonious symphony.

Even my side of sweet potato fries tasted as if they had been freshly peeled, cut, and cooked straight from the potato.

Quiet Man

I began with the Irish Coffee “Quiet Man” — a tall glass featuring Irish whiskey, freshly brewed coffee, and demerara sugar, topped with a silky layer of heavy cream. Each ingredient stood distinct yet blended beautifully together.

Back Entrance of McNally’s

From the moment I entered McNally’s, I was drawn into the lively local atmosphere. Guests of all ages filled the space — from the youngest to the oldest — and everyone seemed genuinely welcomed. The interior, softly lit with warm glowing lights, created a cozy and inviting setting. Irish quotes and sayings adorned the walls, adding charm and character.

Despite being seated near the Main Street entrance, where a brisk winter breeze slipped in whenever the door opened, I was completely content.

The service was outstanding. From arrival to departure, I felt attentively cared for. Three different servers checked in, with one specifically assigned to my table.

Guinness Irish Chocolate Mousse

For the finale, I ordered the Guinness Irish Chocolate Mousse. It began with a subtle, intriguing flavor — smooth, light, and delicately crafted. But with each spoonful, as I dug deeper into the generously filled glass layered with whipped cream, the flavor evolved into something richer and more pronounced — like discovering a hidden pot of gold. It was a bold and decadent finish.

This first visit set the bar remarkably high. I will absolutely be back.

Curious what else they offer? Here’s a look at the menu.
