My Interview With Voyage Baltimore

On the last day of February, I received an email from the editorial staff, Camila Sanchez, of Voyage Baltimore. They had received an anonymous recommendation about Budget Genealogy and were now interested in hearing my story.

In the weeks that followed I remained in regular contact and corresponded back and forth between emails. Then on Friday March 17th, St. Patrick's Day, I completed the online interview and put together a collection of photographs to be considered for the article.

You may ask, what is Voyage Baltimore? That same question I did ask myself after reading the initial email message. I quickly searched and found their website. I discovered their mission is to connect the community with each other. To give a platform where their, OUR, stories and journeys are shared and able to inspire others to dream their dreams and make it a reality.

"Voyage Baltimore 's goal is to help hard-working, inspiring people tell their stories authentically and in their own words."

I knew this was an opportunity I did not want to pass. I had just completed my first year after losing my son Joshua. There are no words to fully describe how much getting here... after all I have walked through and continue to walk through on a daily basis, truly mean for me and my family.

What at many times felt so far away and impossible to achieve with the weight of grief, sorrow and pain now were within my reach.

God can turn our greatest tragedies into our ultimate triumph.

“With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26

And earlier this evening I learned my story was published! The link to read the article on their website will be shared at the end of this post.

I want to thank God first for bringing me here from such a long way through my darkness and grief and with many days feeling there is no going forward, no moving ahead... but, because of my faith and trust...most importantly, my surrendering to the journey... I am here today.

I am grateful to Voyage Baltimore for giving me this opportunity to share and including me among those who have inspiring journeys. My desire is to bring hope even if to only one person, one soul. I do believe that one soul touched can touch a multitude of others!

I also want to thank especially my husband Vince, all of my children; Joshua, Bradley, Angel, Blessing, Daniel, Gabriel, and my family (immediate/extended and church) for all of their support, prayers, encouragement, counsel, mentoring and coaching.

I want to thank you my readers, followers & customers! Without your support & interest there would be NO Budget Genealogy! I appreciate each and everyone of you.

Here is to the future of Budget Genealogy and the hope of exponential growth; expanding and reaching new heights in all areas of business and success... as well as continued healing in my journey forward and moving BEYOND my grief!

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28
